Kirk just doesn´t get enough credit for how durable (and tough) he is. Our OL might have improved, but dude still takes a serious beating on a regular basis. And then pops right back up and delivers touchdowns and victories.
Some of it is on him, as he DOES have a tendency to hold the ball too long (not pull the trigger when he should), but yes, he’s played tougher than hell this year.
Yup, that ugly habit popped up a few times this season, unfortunately. Thank the Gods that Kirk is durable af, so far, maybe he´ll get more flags for roughing now that he´s becoming famous 😄
Biggest criticism of Kirk is he holds it too long for an immobile QB – but yes he is tough as nails.

I was really curious at the start of the season if KOC would indeed be able to unlock the slumbering potential he saw in Kirk when they interviewed him for the job. Looks like he succeeded.
Kirko (and this team) is massively fun to watch this season, so far.
He’s using a simple concept. “When the run fails, let Kirk throw it.”

Absolutely. It also seems to benefit Kirk a lot that he now has a HC who fully trusts him with the offense. Chemistry between KOC and Kirk is real, it looks like.

I’d like to buy a gift card at a spa so that my wife can go have some relaxation time while we’re there and while kiddo and I are going crazy at the water park. Are there any spas that are 1) near the Great Wolf Lodge by the Mall of America and 2) are good.
I’m a real man, not like five, so I don’t go to spas and have no clue what I’m looking for. Any thoughts/suggestions etc. would be appreciated. Thinking of buying a gift card to include with the Christmas present. Christmas present to my family is tix to the playoff game and a few days at the Great Wolf Lodge, & I want to include this with it.

The one on the left was the original design. The producer didn’t like it because he thought it gave away too much of the creature’s real face, so he had them redesign a plainer version to maximize the ultimate reveal at the end.
I really like the design of the original, but the producer was spot on. The plain version is not as cool but better for storytelling.
Yup, leaving things up to the imagination and letting we the viewer come up with the scary parts is great. It’s like V for Vendetta if you watch that movie you’ll find yourself imagining expressions on that mask.

weird, i feel like we started off with our ST doing really well…
i also HATE that we don’t boot it into the endzone on kickoffs more, why let them return it, they get past the 25 more often than they don’t.
That’s what I remember at the start of the year too..
But as more and more of those ST players have been pulled in to roles on O/D it seems ST has slipped.
Maybe Joseph doesn’t have the leg to put it out of the end zone consistently. I’m not sure why we keep allowing returns. Saturday’s kickoff coverage was horrible.
offense: pass is better than the run (duh), and they’ve had the 5th hardest schedule (opponents’ defenses)
defense: run D is significantly better than the pass D, and they’ve had an average schedule (opponents’ offenses)
special teams: FG/XP is AWFUL, punt return is worst in the league, kickoffs and coverage are meh, punts and coverage are OK-ish, kickoff returns are GREAT (2nd best in the league). If not for that, well, yikes.
I would have thought our punt+coverage was actually pretty good but :shrug:
I think the punting is better than the punt coverage, but having a block last week is another ding on the team

In the end, it wasn’t all fetishizing, though. I noticed that Asians wrote me back more often. I got to the point where I was spamming potential matches because I was getting very little response, like less than 10 percent.
Yet, Asians wrote back at a higher percentage, maybe as much as 25 percent. They seemed to have a different attitude toward it than the Caucasian women, like they weren’t boxed into some ideal.

Maybe it was because the only movie I remember her in was Charlies Angles and I really liked Cameron Diaz back in the day.
I would agree. I’m not sure how LL got as popular as she did either. It might be a case of in the kingdom of the blind, the one-eyed man is king. There weren’t a lot of Asian Americans hitting the A list in Hollywood. I think she kind of rode off the wave of “crazy Asian” in Jerry Maguire and then dominatrix in Payback and that got some buzz.

Hollywood started going more Asian in 1998. Once Jet Li hit with Lethal Weapon 4, the floodgates started opening more and we got to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. Jackie Chan did show up in 1995 with Rumble in the Bronx, though, but that didn’t seem to catch.
Some actresses look attractive in one movie or tv show episode and very unflattering in another. Some examples are Kaley Coocoo (or something like that) and the actress that played the lead on Fringe.

It’s racist but that word has been hi-jacked to the one millionth degree. It’s like, if you were lost in NYC or any big city and needed directions and my phone was dead and there were groups of people who all just so happened to be of the same race. Any person of any race is more likely to choose their own race of people to go ask for directions. We’re all human and have some tribalism built into us. We just need to be aware of it.
