Hello Skoloholics, we’ve got your Vikings @ Lions game day thread right here! Come on in, sit down, and join in the game-day conversation. As we expected, it’s been a close battle. The Vikings have given up two huge plays on broken coverages, which created the 14 Lions points. The Vikings got a touchdown from Dalvin Cook, then a late-half drive ended in disaster as Cook fumbled what was rumored to be a planned trick play pass by Cook. The Lions missed the field goal to put them up by 2 scores. At the end of the first half, the Lions are ahead of the Vikings 14-7. It could be worse. Gonna need to wake up in the second half, offense!
Today’s game is going to be a tough game. The game is on the road in Detroit, and against a team who have been playing very well in recent weeks. The Lions are 4-1 in their past 5 games, with wins against the Packers, Bears, Giants, and Jaguars, and their only loss being a 3-point loss against a very stout Bills team.
One of the keys to the game will be getting Dalvin Cook rolling against the Lions defense, helping the Vikings to control the clock and keep Detroit’s offense off of the field. Another key will be the Vikings defense’s ability to keep opposing teams out of the end zone. The Vikings have allowed a ton of yards this year, but have done a pretty good job of preventing teams from scoring touchdowns. If they can continue that trend today, I like the Vikings chances of getting out of Detroit with a W. We’ll find out shortly, SKOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Vikes did beat themselves today, even if the refs were atrocious. Jared Goff dismantled Donatell´s defense, KOC did not call a good game. Sucks to lose, but it is what it is.
