Two days later and yep, 7 and 1 with a four-game lead in the NFC North still feels great. Some Monday night action last night, and as of this writing, the Ravens are in control of this one, they lead 14-3 and are driving. I need Lamar and Duvernay to rack up some points, Mick and I are neck & neck in fantasy this week.
There is all sorts of chatter out there about Josh Allen, and a potential UCL injury. I sure hope the kid isn’t hurt, he’s a fantastic player and probably the best quarterback in the league. If he is hurt, that certainly changes the scope of Sunday’s game, as Case Keenum would be the likely starter for Buffalo. I’m guessing we’ll hear more today, and we’ll do our best to keep you posted. It is nice living in a small, rural township. I just got back from voting and when I got there, no one else was in line and only 2 other people were filling out ballots at the time.
Me too but it was packed.
In my township there are plenty of old retired farmers, so they come at 7am. Then all the worker drones come around noon or 5, so I figured mid-morning would be good and it was.

There’s a really good small parade in White Sulphur Springs MT. For large parades, Mandan ND is the best.
New Salem ND also has a good small parade. That’s the one we were in back in July.
I usually go to the one back home, it’s part of a big 4th week where they have a 3 day rodeo, carnival comes, fireworks etc.

So, correction. I had the opportunity to meet Northwoods and his son last December. Met up to go ice fishing in Minnesota, & had a friggin blast. Caught a bunch of fish.
Fam and I headed out Friday after work, rolled in to the lake that night around 10:00, go to sleep. Get up the next morning, meet Northwoods over at the lake, he hauls us & our stuff out to the ice. Had a blast, fish biting constantly, great group of folks. There are storms coming in to the east and to the west, supposed to be bad, so we pack up & leave the ice around 2:00 so that we can try to miss the storms. I think Northwoods made it home. We made it to Jamestown, about 100 miles from home. If it were just me, I’d have driven home, but had the fam with. Got a room in Jamestown & came home the next morning.

Getting my post-work life put together. I’ll continue in real estate, of course, with a focus on commercial, and I’m teaching a weekly class at a treatment center here, which has been fun. I’m also thinking of a new venture.
In the end, I won’t miss a beat, will likely see an increase in income. Should have done this years ago. Sometimes God makes things work for us when we don’t move fast enough.
