The Hockenson trade is going to turn out to be Weezie’s biggest move so far as GM.
This shows how Irv Smith and Hockenson rank among all tight ends in the NFL. Hockenson is just a SLIGHT upgrade.

Company acquisition is completing this morning, so we’ve got a welcome meeting at 8:30 and they brought donuts.
All I need to hear is “we’re not going to be involved in your site’s management” and we’ll be off to a good start.
Nice. They’re going to be listing our company with a broker, then we go on the sale block. I don’t expect us to last long.
So, it could get weird. If private equity buys us, our office COULD stay as-is. I seriously doubt it, though. I’m guessing we’ll be purchased by a strategic. I hope so, anyway.
Yeah that’s an odd situation for sure. You thinking about going all in on Henke Homes if your office is disbanded?
Yep, gonna go fully self-employed. Real estate has been excellent, so we have that. I’m also looking at opening some sober living homes, there’s a huge demand, and there are some options, but I think it can be done much better. Do things differently, offer financial literacy & stuff like that that will help people live better lives.
That’s a really great idea. Financial & other ‘functioning adult’ literacy education is the best thing you can offer someone in an environment like that.
Yeah, and nobody does it.
My approach will be that when people live at our homes, in addition to being sober, they will also learn necessary life skills and deal with past issues when they exist. Offer classes, connect people with a counselor if they need one. Make it all part of their recovery plan.
I want them to look back in 5 years and be thankful that they chose our home to live in.
I’ve been back sober for about a year & a half now, so I’m doing a lot of work in the recovery community. It’s opened my eyes up to needs in the community, and also to some opportunities.
